C&G2365 LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
INTRODUCTION TO THE C&G2365 LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA
WHO IS THE LEVEL 3 FOR ?
It is aimed for those who have successfully completed the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations and who want to continue and become a Qualified Electrician in the Domestic Commercial or Industrial sectors.
The C&G2365 Diploma is the intended progression route for those who also might have achieved the 2365 level 2, 2330 level 2 or 2360 part 1
You do not have to be working in the Electrical trade to complete this level so it is ideal for anyone new to the Electrical trade and for those currently working in the industry.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN DIPLOMA ?
This course is available to study through our online training portal for the electrical knowledge elements and practice exam questions .
Practical skills and assessments with all the required tools and equipment are provided at our Derby centre
There are 6 units which are:
- Fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems
- Principles of Electrical science
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Inspection testing and commissioning
- Electrical systems design
- Career awareness in the building services

WHY TAKE THE LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA?
The level 3 is designed for those who have already completed the Level 2 Diploma. Those who complete both level 2 & 3 Diploma route can progress to complete a C&G 2357 NVQ and become a JIB approved electrician. This course has recently been updated to align it with the new trailblazer C&G 5357 apprenticeship.
WHY DO I NEED A LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA?
This qualification will allow you to progress into employment as an electrical improver and then onto the following:
- C&G2357-44 NVQ In Electrical Installations or Maintenance
- C&G2391 Inspection and testing
- C&G2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Only candidates who have successfully completed the level 2 Diploma or equivelent qualification in Electrical Installations, such as the 2330 or 2360 may enrol for the level 3
