


This is the starting point for all those who would like to become a fully qualified Electrician in Installation or Maintenance work within the Domestic, Commercial or Industrial sectors.
The C&G2365 Diploma route replaces the former very successful C&G2330 qualifications
Even if you do not currently work within the electrical industry or have an apprenticeship but would like to gain the experience and qualifications to change or gain employment.
This course is available to study through our online training portal for the electrical knowledge elements and practice exam questions .
Practical skills and assessments with all the required tools and equipment are provided at our Derby centre
There are 5 units which are:
the Building services and engineering
This level allows you to gain the required understanding and practice the skills required to progress into the electrical industry and gain employment in Installation or Maintenance
This is one of the qualification routes recognised by the electrical industry to become a qualified electrician.
It allows you to gain a good grounding of both electrical theory and practical understanding that will be a huge beneift when starting in the industry.
You will be able to progress onto the level 3 Diploma and complete the NVQ to become a graded recognised electrician
The Level 2 Diploma is suitable for a complete beginner or those already in the industry who lack the essential qualifications to progress.
Anyone over the age of 18 can do the course, but it is recommended that you have a good understanding of English and Maths at level 2, but this is not a requirement.
The course can successfully be completed without any prior qualifications
